Farewell

Hello Families,

Some of you may know that our Director of Religious Education (DRE), James Sarkis, has recently resigned his position. We want to wish James all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his work these past few months. 

As you may guess, this change in staff during the year is not without its challenges. We are currently working to ensure all parishioners continue to receive the care and attention they deserve as God's children, but there may be some hiccups along the way. Please be patient as we work to help you.  

For December's K-5 formation classes, all volunteers and parents can direct any questions or concerns to Ed Snyder (esnyder@scswf.org), our Youth Director. We are also cancelling all first communion parent meetings until further notice. This means that students will come for a regular class on Dec. 8th. 

Catechists of first communion students will teach on this day from the next chapter in their book instead of completing the planned craft.  

Regarding Mass cards, we are attaching the latest month to this Flocknote. We will also have some in the Narthex beginning this weekend. As usual, we will also distribute these cards during our next class. Note that this Mass card includes two months. 

Please know that it is especially important during this time to monitor your Flocknote communications from us so that you can stay informed about future changes. 

Finally, we are currently searching for a new, full-time Director of Religious Education. Please click below to read through the job description. We encourage you to send it to whomever might be interested. Please pray for us, and James, during this time of transition.
